Personality typing relies on the notion that while people have the ability to traverse the spectrum of temperament, they will inevitably settle in a specific niche. The essence of any man or woman is only human, a luxury synonymous only with choice. Typecasting is no more than a vain attempt to control, for true understanding is beyond our abilities.
